I keep finding reasons to return to the virtual world that occupied so much of my time and served as a source of income during 2007-2008. The bevvy of friends I made back in 2006 are now almost all depleted, as us old timers have somewhat phased out and a new generation of users has emerged.

I’ve always longed to find a way to blend my RL skills with SL in a way that would yield a sustainable income. I’ve done all the SL businesses – building things from furniture to outdoor waterfalls, done real estate, done custom work, done the club thing and the clothing thing, done it all, really. I want to look beyond that and evolve. Web 2.0 technologies, viral marketing, SEO, building a brand and an image through collaboration and human contact, that’s what powers people and business and gets things noticed. Being that everything in SL is internet-based, it’s the perfect platform to absorb the help of these tools and evolve the business structure and practices that creative people in SL are used to. I want to help people, companies, artists, creative minds, continue to develop the online world and expand. I want collaborative efforts that can create great partnerships working towards new goals.

The economy is busto, there’s no jobs out there – we all might as well get our thinking caps on and creat our own jobs in areas where there is endless opportunity waiting to be uncovered.
