If you put your eyes upon my recent New Star Soccer review for Test Freaks, then this one will be familiar territory. The fellow behind the game also released this racing title, New Star Grand Prix. I liked it even better than the soccer title, and not just because racing games are way cooler than soccer games.

Ok, maybe that’s a little bit of it.

Like the other New Star titles, you can download a trial version of the game to play for free. You’ll actually get quite a bit of fun out of it.

This is my second review for them, about a new soccer game for PC/Mac called New Star Soccer 4. Now, me reviewing a soccer game may be slightly hilarious, but that’s why I wanted to do the review. I know nothing about soccer, so I was able to look at it objectively and give it a straight up review. Fortunately for me, the game was actually kind of cool, because playing soccer was only a portion of all there is to do in the title. It was like an RPG sports game, with character development and all sorts of jazz.

I recently started doing work for Test Freaks, a great website all about geeky technology stuff. They review games, products, gadgets and gizmos; basically anything that makes a nerd squee with delight.
