Being Mac-happy at Test Freaks

If you are a Twitter user, then good for you. If you are also an OSX user, you have likely dabbled with various Twitter clients and programs to manage your tweeting joy. For any of you who use Twitter, the silly 140 character instant chat tool, here’s a fun site for you:

Cursebird reads every tweet that goes through Twitter and extracts all of our most commonly used swear words in real-time. It keeps a running record of every swear, logs the top swears and their shift percentages, a tally of the swears you’ve used, and gives people a ranking for the filth quality in their tweets.

Silly. Fun.

The new iPod Crumb… I mean Shuffle

Apple redesigned the iPod shuffle. Here’s a link:

I love (most) all things Apple. But Jesus, this thing is insane. Smaller than a AA battery? It’s a crumb. Why would I want anything THAT small? I guess they’re hoping we’ll lose them and have to keep buying new ones.

The controls are now on a tiny piece of plastic on the cord. Another component to break. There are three places to push on this one little piece of plastic – great for 90 lb. girls and children with little teeny penne pasta fingers. Not good for someone with real hands.

Also, it talks to you. It tells you what song is playing in that awful computer voice. Great. I just know I’m going to get scared when it tells me it’s gay and wants to take me out for drinks. Seriously, Apple, this thing is just silly.
